These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LifeSaver website at https://life-saver.top ("Website") and our desktop application ("App"). By accessing our Website, purchasing our software, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. About LifeSaver

LifeSaver is a desktop focus guardian application designed to help users manage digital distractions. The App blocks access to time-wasting applications and websites after users reach their configured daily time limits. LifeSaver is available for macOS and Windows operating systems.

2. Account Creation and Access

2.1 Account Registration

To use certain features (cross-device sync, billing management), you may create an account using:
- Google OAuth authentication
- Email magic link authentication

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

2.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Purchase and Licensing

3.1 Lifetime Access License

When you purchase LifeSaver, you receive:
- A one-time payment for lifetime access to the desktop application
- All future updates and improvements to the software
- Installation rights on all your personal computers (macOS and Windows)
- Priority customer support

3.2 License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the LifeSaver desktop application
- Use the App on multiple devices you personally own
- Receive software updates and improvements

3.3 License Restrictions

You may NOT:
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the LifeSaver application
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Remove or modify any copyright notices or branding
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the App in a commercial environment (e.g., selling "focus coaching" using our software)

3.4 Pricing

Our pricing is displayed on the Website and may change at any time. However, if you have already purchased lifetime access, price changes do not affect you—you continue to receive all updates for free.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee:
- Request a full refund within 7 days of purchase
- No questions asked policy for refund requests within this period
- Refunds processed within 5-10 business days via Stripe
- After 7 days, all sales are final

5. Software and Service Availability

5.1 Platform Compatibility

The App currently supports:

While we strive for 99.9% availability:
- The Website and App may experience downtime for maintenance or updates
- We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions
- Local blocking functionality works offline; only sync features require internet

5.3 Updates and Changes

We may:
- Release updates, bug fixes, and new features at our discretion
- Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Require App updates to maintain compatibility

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to:
- Use LifeSaver only for lawful purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not attempt to bypass or disable the blocking functionality
- Not abuse the override feature (intended for genuine emergencies)

6.2 System Requirements

You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your device meets minimum system requirements
- Granting necessary permissions (screen recording on macOS, etc.)
- Maintaining a stable internet connection for sync features

7. Privacy and Data

7.1 Privacy Policy

7.2 Local Data Storage

- App usage data (which apps/sites you visit and for how long) is stored ONLY on your device
- We cannot access your usage history
- Only your settings and limits sync across devices if you enable this feature

7.3 Data Collection

We collect:
- Account information (name, email) for authentication and communication
- Payment information (processed by Stripe, we never see full card details)
- Website cookies for analytics and user experience
- Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the product

8. Intellectual Property

LifeSaver and all related content, code, designs, and trademarks are owned by LifeSaver and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

8.2 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about LifeSaver:
- You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback
- We are not obligated to implement any feedback
- You will not receive compensation for feedback

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

10. Third-Party Services

10.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

10.2 Authentication

We use Google OAuth for authentication. By signing in with Google, you agree to Google's Terms of Service.

10.3 Email Services

We use Resend for transactional emails. Your email address is shared with Resend to deliver order confirmations and account emails.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of LifeSaver shall be resolved in the courts of Poland.

11.3 Informal Resolution

12. Changes to These Terms

12.1 Updates
